So this is something I never posted about back in December with regards to my brother's wedding. But a friend's little girl will be a flower girl this weekend:
My Bro's wedding was the weekend after Christmas, and this being the first holiday season she was actually aware that she was Jewish and different than most other people, we'd been trying to emphasize our Judaism. Something must have stuck, because during one of the rehearsal walkthroughs, she was getting petulant and upset and so sat down on the stairs, crossed her arms, pouted and said, "I can't be a flower girl, I'm JEWISH!" |

Ari was having a "fashion show" to see if some of last year's summer clothes still fit and Monica said putting on some shorts on her, "We have to get this over your big Katz belly." A few pairs of pants later and we were trying to pull them over her butt and Ari said, "I got a big tush, too!"

So this morning, I was looking a the Youtube video of the news report about the guy in Colorado who was robbing 7-11's with a Bat'leh. Well, Ariana was sitting on my lap and she said,
"Daddy, No want to watch the news. Want to watch football. I like Steelers!"
I firmly blame Monica for this. She's the one who bough a little #7 Roethlisberger tshirt for Ariana on Sunday, along with a terrible towel for her to wave. |

Ariana did a great job as flower girl at my brother's wedding. Moncia and I are very proud of her.
We're also very proud of my brother and his bride, Sarah. It was a lovely and beautiful wedding, and a great time to see all my family again. |

Ok, Ariana is not quite 2 and a half (2 and a little over 5 months to be exact).
This morning, after waking up, Ari was in our room and looked at the digital clock at the bedside, it showed 7:37.
"Look! Two sevens, Daddy!"
"Where?"
"Seven. Seven!" she said as pointed to the ones-minute and the hour.
My jaw nearly hit the floor.
Also, yesterday she was playing with her alphabet refrigerator magnets, I held up the letter "X" and ask what letter it was, "Ecks!" She also knows the letter U, as she showed me the "U" magnet and the "C" magnet (held sideways) and said, "Two yoos!"

She jumps and streches. "Ari reach it!"
"One day you might touch the moon."
"Moon high!"
"Yes, the moon is very high."
"Up, Daddy! Closer! Touch a Moon!" She want me to pick her up so she is closer.
"Ari reach it!"
"One day you'll touch the moon, baby."
"Daddy touch a Moon?"
"I'm not sure I'll be able to touch the moon one day, but I hope you can touch the Moon one day." |

Apparently, there is a mirror universe version of Monica and myself out there (these people have EXACTLY the same voices as us), and we have a little boy and an iPhone.
